4th Career and Entrepreneurship Summit Held at MKU
The 4th Career and Entrepreneurship Summit was organized by our university’s Career and Entrepreneurship Society (KAGIT) at Ataturk Conference Hall on May 15-16.
Speaking at the event where students listened to the success stories of internationally successful business people, entrepreneurs and personal development experts from various sectors, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Veysel Eren said that students should know the importance of such events. He stated that such speeches are a compass that will guide students not only in their business life but also throughout their lives.
Taking the stage first, famous Brand Strategist Ozel Oytun Turkoglu made a presentation on the golden rules of being successful in business life.
In the afternoon session, marketing and sales consultant Hilmi Isikoren, who took the floor first, explained the rules that students should know on the way to success in business life in the finest details. Belgin Benek, Communication Consultant, explained the importance of effective communication and the ways of effective communication by giving examples.
The closing presentation of the day, entrepreneur Ataman Ozbay’s speech consisting of lived examples, was followed with interest by the audience.
On the second day of the 4th Career and Entrepreneurship Summit, our University Lecturer. Assist. Abdullah Akyuz and guitarist Batuhan Kartaltepe started with a music concert.
After the music concert, Brand Consultant Ismail Hilmi Adiguzel came to the stage and talked to the students about the importance of entrepreneurship spirit and who should do brand management.
In the afternoon session of the second day, Safety Turkey Safe Driving Chief Tayfun Gulhan and Trainer Soner Pehlivan from Honda Turkey A.S. explained the use of motorcycles and the special rules and techniques that every individual should know in traffic.
In the closing session of the summit, Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Women’s Basketball Team’s Manager Serhat Bayraktar, Player Devran Tanacan, Coach Aikaterina Chatzidaki and Team Administrative Manager Erdal Oktay shared with the audience the methods they used to win the Presidential Cup, their hard-fought battles and the secrets of their success.
After this special presentation, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kilinc presented a gift basket consisting of flowers and local products to Ozel Oytun Turkoglu and thanked him on behalf of our University.
