Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit '25 brought young people together in Istanbul
Held in partnership with Social Business Global and with the contribution of Beşiktaş Municipality, the summit brought university students together with business and academia at Akatlar Cultural Centre on 12 December 2025.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit '25, held in partnership with Social Business Global and with the contribution of Beşiktaş Municipality, took place on Friday 12 December 2025 at Akatlar Cultural Centre in Istanbul. The summit brought students from different universities together with business representatives, academics and entrepreneurs.
Ekin İlgün, the summit's organiser and moderator of the first session, said the programme, ranging from social entrepreneurship to innovation, had brought names from leading Turkish brands and academia together with university students, and that they would keep talking about innovation and entrepreneurship.
Speaker Arda Kallen noted that supporting social enterprises only through donations and sponsorship limits their impact, and stressed the value of brands sharing their know-how, supply chains and partnerships with social enterprises. Güven Güleşce, Chairman of GG Yatırım Holding, spoke about access to capital, cooperation between universities, the private sector and the state, and the opportunities opened up by artificial intelligence.
The summit was the latest Istanbul stop of Social Business Global's work connecting young people with social entrepreneurship and social innovation.
