Social Business Global and hangel: together for volunteering and social impact
Social Business Global, which works in social entrepreneurship, works together with hangel, the platform that brings NGOs, volunteers, student clubs and brands together.
Social Business Global
Social Business Global is a civil society organisation founded in Istanbul in 2020 that carries social entrepreneurship and social innovation from Turkiye to the world. Its official registered name is Uluslararası Sosyal Fayda Derneği (International Social Benefit Association).
The association works together with hangel (hangel.org) to bring volunteering and social impact into everyday life. hangel brings NGOs, volunteers, student clubs and brands together on one transparent platform: volunteering opportunities, events, open grant and funding calls, and hangel Market, where a share of each purchase becomes a donation to the NGO you choose.
Social Business Global's volunteering opportunities, events and reports are published both on the association's own website (socialbusinessglobal.org) and on hangel. Its 2020-2025 Impact and Transparency Report, which documents 126 events reaching 15,621 people and 632 social enterprises reviewed from 54 countries, is open to everyone.
The association's motto comes from the same belief as hangel: there's no such thing as struggling alone. Anyone who wants to do good can join this movement by volunteering, attending an event or supporting its social entrepreneurship work.
